Create Novelty
New stuff is stimulating. Often, adding a new item to a room will make you want to organize and clean that room. Very small changes can have this effect.
Recommended:
* Switch to GE "Reveal" Light bulbs. They make everything look better!
* Add new lighting to dimly lit areas.
* Open blinds or curtains.
* Rearrange decorations or furniture.
* Update framed photos
* Add a candle, a plant, or cut flowers.
* Paint something!
